Air Travel and transportation to the hotel

All leading domestic air carriers serve San Antonio International Airport. Many offer nonstop service from cities such as San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis and Nashville.

Upon arrival in San Antonio, convenient and economical van service is available at the airport for the short ride to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Antonio Airport.

SATRANS is the airport shuttle service. It is available from 7 a.m. to midnight daily. Tickets are available for purchase directly outside baggage claim. Ticket cost is approximately $19 (round trip $34). Reservations: (800) 868-7707.

Taxi cabs are available at the lower level curbside, outside of baggage claim, at Terminal 1 and at the front curbside of Terminal 2 just outside baggage claim. For assistance, please contact the Airport Ground Transportation Agent wearing an airport badge. Fare to San Antonio downtown areas are approximately $25 to $30 (U.S.) per taxicab. (Up to 4 may share a cab.)

The DoubleTree by Hilton offers free airport shuttle service. Simply call (210) 366-2424 when you arrive, inform them of your location at either terminal A or B, and they will pick you up. They similarly will assist you with your return trip from the hotel to the airport

Our check-in time is 4:00 p.m.; check-out time is 12:00 noon.  Guests arriving before 3:00 p.m. will be accommodated as rooms become available.  Our bell captain can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are not available and for guests attending functions on the day of departure.

All reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card, first night’s room and tax or a company guarantee.  Reservations not guaranteed by one of these methods will not be honored.

The conference is conveniently located near a variety of destinations. The Quarry, one of San Antonio’s world-class golf courses and shopping venues is minutes away; as is North Star Mall. Others include: the Alamo, the Alamodome and the River Walk—10 minutes; Six Flags Fiesta Texas—12 minutes; Sea World of Texas—20 minutes.
